Caramelized Onion and Roasted Garlic Dip created by Miss Janice De Belen

If you have friends coming over, it's a staple to serve them snacks such as chips and dips. But buying ready-made dips in the grocery might be too expensive (and dangerously high in sugar!), so why not make your own? Here are some tips on creating the perfect dip for not only for your guests, but also to munch on at home.

Choose the freshest ingredients

Who says veggies can’t be yummy? Onion and garlic create aromatic flavors for dips. Roast the garlic and caramelize your onions to achieve best taste.

You can’t go wrong with sour cream

A tub of sour cream is available in almost all groceries at an affordable price. It gives your dip the right amount of cream and heaviness to go perfectly with chips.

Blend it all together with the Oster® DualPro™ Multiblender

Oster Philippine’s latest heavy duty blender can create a variety of delicious dishes, including the perfect dip. The DualPro’s Dual Direction Blade Technology™ gives extra blending power to chop and grind with precision. Resulting in a yummy dip to serve for your friends.

Luckily, we have a special recipe just for our Oster PH Readers. It’s a delicious dip recipe created by Chef Janice De Belen!
